In Rajasthan, the ancient art of मीनाकारी thrives, predominantly seen on jewelry. Seeking to honor this tradition while innovating, I reimagined the classic "झुमका" accessory as a modern light fixture. By applying Meena Kari to a non-traditional product, I aimed to blend tradition with contemporary design, encouraging acceptance of new applications for traditional crafts.
